I remember seeing an Interview .. If she wasn't she sure out on a good act. I have no clue if it was truth or fabricated. But Charmaine Neville is who I remember.

I am going to correctly assume they they did not also say only if you feel your life of phsical well being is in danger. Dat's some fine rednecks there. On a serious note, it's some seriously disgusting shite. And some people complain about looting and shitting on the floor of a building, but in the same breath laud this type of murderous crap.

I think unless you were there and scared for your life you can't imaine what it was like. I wasn't there and I cant imagine having been.
And I do t think anyone was applauding it but rather telling what happened.

The cops who murdered Ronald Madison and James Brissete would've definitely been hailed as heroes by many on the OT.

Uh, I witnessed some very disgusting behavior that went way beyond looting and shitting on a floor.
The less than primal mode that people resorted to i those days was nothing short of hellish.
desperate people do desperate things. However, many saw this as opportunity. When looting a store for necessities, why was it necessary to steal electronics? Why was it necessary to break into homes and ransack them if only looking for food?
Civilized individuals don't do that. Individuals with no values and no sense of respect for anything earned do that.
A whole segment of culture showed what happened when the rules were lifted.

Who was threatening hospitals?
Drug users were breaking into hospitals and pharmacies. My mom had to stay in her hospital after the storm to help care for the patients until they could be evacuated. Two people were killed in the pharmacy across the street while she was there.
When they were evacuated, they were escorted by national guardsmen. One of them told my mom, who had her vehicle, that she was not to stop for anything, including if someone got in front of her car. She broke down and someone else had to drive her car because she thought she was going to be forced to hit someone in the road.

You are fricking retarded and so is the poster who just equated defending one's home with the murderous actions of the nopd on the overpass.

One day we may all comprehend what a profoundly complex thing Katrina was. We still do not 10 years later. Thus statements of terminating thugs, and/or perhaps others who fall within the whim of the minute to those with power, the acts of police responding to a call of officer down, or cops who suddenly turn judge jury and executioner, chaos, confusion, death, all are strangely intertwined and not...ever...easily dismissed by any, at not least any that truly have an open mind to the absolute...insanity.

I never understood why the officials didn't get a bunch of boats and evac everyone from the ferry and Natchez docks. At the very least they could have supplied the convention center and dome by flotilla

A bunch of law abiding citizens, including a doctor and his mentally disabled brother, were walking across a bridge trying to get help when an unmarked van full of cops not wearing uniforms and carrying illegal weapons (for officers such as ak47s) pulled up and unloaded across these people, shooting at them and then driving rhem down like dogs. the only remote provocation was that there were gunshots in the area.

For those unfamiliar with the NO metro area, the Danzinger Bridge runs parallel to the I-10 "high rise" bridge over the Industrial Canal, about a 1/2 mile to the north. A cop on the high rise (allegedly) reported gunfire from the Danzinger. A moving can full of cops responded. Someone in the front, who can see, started shooting. So the the guys in the back, who can only see out of the back door, come out shooting. It was a fricked up situation.
To make matters much worse, one of the NOPD officers then hitched a ride in a responding LSP unmarked vehicle and drove to the crown of the bridge. He sees the Madison brothers running down the bridge, pursues, and proceeds to shotgun Ronald Madison, who just happens to be retarded, in the back and kills him. The surviving brother, Lance (I believe) worked for UPS and was a solid citizen. They were trying to get to a 3rd brother's dental office. Lance got locked up (attempted murder) for a week or two in one of the temporary jails.
The icing on the cake was when the cops figured out that none of the people they shot had a gun. So they fricking lied about what happened and got other cops to assist in the cover-up. The really sad part is that if Lance Madison had been a stereotypical NO ghetto dwelling street rat, NOPD would probably have gotten away with it.

Listening to news radio that morning there was a call to the station that supposedly originated from a Hospital in New Orleans. The nurse was put on the radio, she pleaded for whomever was shooting at the helicopter trying to leave please stop. Apparently there was a kid fighting for their life, helicopter could not leave because of the gun fire. Was it true not sure. What I do know was true was the phone call on the radio.
