Should I seriously consider Southern Law even if I get accepted into LSU Law?

If you are actually asking this question, you should not go to law school.

IDK what LSU's tuition is, but I'd pay the extra not to have to drive over to the Yard erryday for 3 years.

I was on scholly though, so no tuition for me.

I am guessing SU law grads are getting jobs with big brother because of their race. If you are white, I would not expect a job from big brother.

With your JD you can demand higher pay working a government job. Not many Southern students pass the bar, and you don't need to pass the bar to demand higher pay with a graduate degree.

It's not the schools job to pass the bar for you that is completely up to you. Yes southern's bar passage is lower because they take the students who usually have poorer LSAT scores than LSU. If you study you will pass. It is up to the individual not the school

I'm not trying to convince he guy one way or another. To me it was about how much debt I will be in after having passed the bar, simple as that. That extra 24k will be piling up more interest if you're like me and taking out loans.

Agree. Schools simply provide an indicator of your abilities. Same reason law firms don't hire from better schools because of what you've learned, but because of the type of students who attend better schools.
