Pretty much what it comes down to. I'm fine giving up some reliability for the Porsche - buying a fuel pump or alternator every couple years won't kill me - but if it's shite like $5,000 transfer cases going out I'll just hate myself.

You must not know Porsche has equalled or bettered Lexus in terms of reliability and initial quality ratings for years.
