Taurus is recalling a bunch of guns

According to Grand View Outdoors, Taurus SA has agreed to a $39 million settlement in a class action suit alleging that some of the company’s most popular semi-auto handguns can discharge when dropped due to a defective safety, and can discharge even when engaged.
Christian Lowe of Grandview Outdoors writes that a suit filed on May 15 in U.S. District Court in Florida, where Taurus’s U.S. sales office is located, says the company has agreed to pay up to $30 million to owners of nine separate handgun models who opt to send their pistols back. As such, owners who opt for this settlement will receive anywhere from $150-$200 for their pistols depending upon how many they chose to return.

guy came in the store a few weeks ago and asked to see a Taurus. he was like "so what are the best things about this gun?" I was like "well.....it has a lifetime warranty" and some guy at the other end of the counter was like "yeah, you'll be using it."
i couldn't hold it in and just lost my shite. the guy put the gun on the counter and rolled out.

I happen to really like my .44 mag and the judge is a good frick off gun. Both Taurus. They've probably had more rounds down the pipe than any of my other guns. Not a single problem with either.

I knew one of my guns were gunna be on that list as soon as I saw it. I'v had nothing but problems with my PT 24/7 since I got it. Only use it as a side kick in the woods anyway.
