Torchy's Tacos
While not a bad option by any means, supposedly Torchy's will be IN the stadium this year.

Torchy's is really good but there are much better tacos around ATX. The Las Tranca's food truck on Chesar Chavez about 5 blocks east of I-35 is the best I've ever had

6th street is obviously the famous area for bars but I much prefer Rainey street. Great choice of bars, little more laid back of an atmosphere, not nearly as touristy and trashy as some would say
If you've been to Nola I'd say it could be compared like:
Bourbon = 6th St
6th is filthy touristy crap. Rule of thumb - if you can spot a dueling piano bar on the street, locals probably don't hang out there. Easy Tiger is cool though and Firehouse right across from the Driskell has a great happy hour. Otherwise you aren't missing much.

Shakespeare Pub has $5 pitchers of LI iced teas some nights that are strong as hell.
I don't mind dirty 6th as it reminds me of Louisiana. Kind of half tigerland half bourbon street but way cleaner than either.

Bring a case of beer and folding chairs to Franklin bbq on Monday
I wouldn't recommend this unless you just want to wake up early and drink beer for no reason. Franklin don't work on Monday.
