I preface this by saying I'm just now starting to do my due diligence, lol...
He had a good second half...with no hillman or ball. His ADP is NINE! That's a lil high for a guy that will be splitting carries at best 60/40 don't you think? Worse case, Hillman takes his job back.

ETA: TradeEval
ok, well let me ask y'all this... keeper league...
TRADE: Anderson for the #1 overall.
Anderson is yours for life or until you trade/drop him. yay/nay?

One of the "experts" on ESPN has him as his top rated player. It just reeks of a guy who loses his job midway through the season, I wouldn't touch him. He's not supremely talented like Jeremy Hill or the like, it's more of an opportunity thing here.

Kubiak doesn't have a history of splitting carries between his backs. Foster didn't split and neither did Forsett.

I think he is rated slightly higher than he should be, but I see alot of justification for him as a top 10 back. Gase is gone, and the offense may be slightly adjusted, but he should produce pretty well under Kubiak's offensive scheme with Peyton Qbing.

He is a 3 down back. Manning's running backs usually produce pretty well in fantasy. Also, his backup is Montee Ball. If you have paid any attention to Ball over the last two years, you know he is not a good running back and isn't just gonna take the job from Anderson. Hilliman is 3rd team.

I have him in that jumble of Murray, Forte, Lynch, and McCoy.

Was never Hillman's job.

To answer your question, it's the system and playing with Peyton. Just like the hype with Monte Ball last year, except Ball was a garbage can. Anderson can play.

He's the Montee Ball of this season.

Freaked out by him and Hill. I'd rather draft a WR or another RB available.

Monte Ball. Whoever is the main rb there will be a top 10 rb as long as manning keeps playing at a high level. The only reason he came on last year was injuries. I wouldn't put much faith in him. I also think that manning has to eventually at some point fall off.

For one he's WAY more talented than Monte Ball. He can pass protect and catch, which puts him more in favor of Peyton. Kubiak has said he wants a "bell-cow" back for the season. The O-line is talented in the run game with a favorable schedule. Peyton is digressing and will have trouble throwing the ball around playoff time meaning more carries/similar numbers of CJ at that same time last year.

And as insurance, take Hillman in the later rounds instead of Monte Ball. I would not waste any pick in the draft on Monte Ball (no I did not draft him last year)

As a Broncos fan that watches every single game, I can tell you that CJ is without question the best RB on the team, followed by Juwan Thompson. Hillman is a smaller one trick pony, and Ball is just plain terrible. CJ is going to get the bulk of the carries, and in Kubiak's system, expect a Mike Anderson type numbers season from him.

IMO at his ADP, he's the best choice. Demarco Murray screams ACL, out for the season, by game 3. His injury history and the number of carries he took last year make it seem highly likely. Forte i think is set for a down year. He's getting older, I think he has good receiving threats around him, not sure about their o line. Lesean McCoy is going from the #2 o line to a worse one, I think he has bust potential as well as potential of being vultured by Tyrod Taylor's rushing ability
On the other hand, I think CJ will not split carries (Kubiak history with Foster and others), I think Denver has a good O line and running scheme, and I don't think Peyton will be able to pass as much this year. Plus what they did last year was impressive and I expect to see more of it
