As in a pull behind travel trailer and maybe two lots in different fishing areas or a hunting lease and lot on the coast. Cheaper than buying a permanent camp and limiting to one location.
Just a random thought

All you'd need to do is one of them cheap carport type overhangs at each location to protect trailer and longer life! Brilliant.

Probably not what you are looking for, but just for reference a camper lot with hookups at San Miguel on Toledo is $150/month. Electric and water included.

actually, I did this...rented a spot in a very small, rural trailer park in cameron parish to put a camper during duck season...
lady next door used to cook me supper for $5 a head and watch my camper when I was away....
no reason you couldn't do the same in the area of some good fishing...

I have a lot in GI, full sIze lot. I have it set up for 2 campers, one for me and the other for my buddies to hookup to. My spot has concrete slab the other is limestone, putting up a cover this fall. I dont hunt so having another spot for hunting is a no go but If I did I wouldnt definately have a place setup to pull my camper into. I do fish Lafitte alot in fall and thought about a lot in that area but I decided to just learn Leeville instead.

I'm just curious, but you never get any grief from town about it? I know when our first camp was destroyed during Katrina when we rebuilt they had all kinds of new regs to rebuild. I like this idea A LOT that's why I'm asking.

$225/m is what they get next door. We have never leased the spot. Just been rolling the idea around.

Who you paying off to get away with that?
I though they band doing that years ago. Last I was told that one could not park a RV over 30 days.

It's that way at coastal Florida. I bought a nice lot near the boat ramps and thought about just doing the RV thing. You can't run power without a building permit. And they check the satellite images to look for mobile homes/RVs/5th wheels. So I'm building my house there.
The one exception - if you get enough land for an agricultural exemption then you can run power and do about whatever you want.
