I'm reading the Jose Canseco book "Juiced"

He's convinced that his team in 1994 (Rangers). Would have made a deep playoff run if it wasn't for the strike. At the time of the strike they were in first place at 52-62.
Also, he firmly believes that civilians (not just ball players) should take steroids and growth hormone in order to stay healthier and more active longer. He says they can help prolong life expectancy when used properly.
Is this guy dumb?

Yes. Pretty sure growth hormone also makes all of your organs grow in size.
