Has anyone given this a try? Gone the whole 30 days? Any feedback on the outcome

Tomorrow is day 3 for me. I find myself exhausted all day. Can't really seem to feel "full".

You eventually will.
I ended up compiling what I'd read in "8 weeks to optimum health" and "the perricone promise".

What were your results? Did you maintain this type of diet after the initial 30 days?

youre prob just detoxing from the sugar. Give it 5-7 days. It's rough but once you get past that peak you'll feel a lot better. Try and eat some more fruit to boost your energy.

Add some substance to the post for those of us interested.
But not interested enough to look it up.

Is this basically just a 30 day introduction to the paleo diet?

Yes did great. Nothing but meats and veggies with a little fruit mixed in.
The no alcohol was a killer for the first 2 weeks.
I am 29 yrs old 190lbs when i started, lost 11 lbs just using the diet (did not exercise 1 time)

I did it with the wife and felt fantastic after 10 days and even better at 30 days.

25 days in, and I felt like sharing, so here goes.
I am not actually abiding by every rule. My wife is in a group and is doing it right. I thought I'd do it with her for support.
Cheats: I couldn't last with the alcohol and I have had salad dressing twice that I know was not compliant. I have basically done everything else. I may have had some non-compliant bacon and one link of sausage.
This has been great for me. I did not weigh before like I should have, but I'm wearing pants I have not worn in 5 years. I was one of those 35s that could never find the right fit. 34 was uncomfortable and 36s needed to be cinched. I am already a true to loose 34 now. I'd like to get to the point where I do not even need to try on 34s and to be able to wear some 33s. I doubt 32 is in my future.
I generally feel better. I especially felt better for the time when I was not drinking. I have reduced my drinking a good bit, and the no soda thing has kept me off of Bourbon for the most part. Speaking of, Bourbon/water tastes better now than it ever has, and I'll probably never have a Bourbon/Sprite or Old Fashioned ever again.
For whatever reason, I do not even care about the sweets thing. That's not going to be something I jump into when it's over. I just don't care.
Basically everything tastes better now. Especially things that were sorta sweet before. Sweet potatoes are almost too sweet for me to eat. Berries are amazing.
The bad.
Coffee still tastes like arse. Coconut milk has been my savior. I really am not sure what I'll do when this is over, but I miss Splenda more than anything else. Even more than cheese, pasta and rice. I may research the bad effects of it or just switch to Stevia. Any of you with an opinion, feel free to provide it.
Lunch. Luch sucks. I used to eat out a lot. I basically can't here. Moe's or BBQ only I think. Then, no sides. I am not one top pack a lunch, and I really don't like going home. I have gotten by, but I am not happy about it.
What shall I have Sunday? I'm thinking the cheesiest pasta dish I can find somewhere. Sucks that our anniversary is Saturday, and we can't go to Verona or Bellino's.
