Could be an issue, So I asked "what is going on with that" I was told that they had a former player who plays for them now.

To which I responded "You also have a pretty good WR that plays for LSU" "Well he hasn't given us anything for the wall".

So I ask the RANT "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AT LSU"?

Details Little Nicky is processing North La schools

he learned that when he was at LSU. proximity wise its just about as close to LSU as Bama. It produces a high umber of kids year in and year out, and LSU's foothold there isn't the best, and really never has been.

In the last 40 years I can't remember any bigtime recruit leaving for bama year in and year out like they have been in the last 3 years. The last one I can remember was Bubby Brister and he never made to Bama he signed Baseball with Detroit.

But I do remember Toby Caston, Oliver Lawrence, Rob Sale and others from WM and Ouachita coming to LSU. I have never seen Bama, Ole Miss MSU or Ark owning NE Louisiana like Bama does now.

Drop off a shirt and hat and check back in a week to see if it's on the wall too.

That would be great if it would work. Not really sure I can call Mickey up and tell him to hang for LSU shirt on the wall. But getting back to Details if you got former player to ask the coaches to hang them on the wall that the kind of stuff Freshman and sophomores remember as they are coming up.

You couldn't be further from the truth. Baton Rouge is within 187 miles of Monroe, while Tuscaloosa is just over 300 miles away. That's about a two-hour difference if you are driving, which can be a big deal for parents and family.

The coach there now has made that area a priority and the coach LSU had in that area supposedly wasn't doing his job in that time span.

The staff in place now has to make up some ground... fortunately it's the best staff in the game now.

from someone that's made both drives several times, it's really not a big difference time wise. I can get to Tuscaloosa in 4 hrs on I-20.....BR takes at least 3:30 due to all the small towns that slow you up. If I know it, I'm sure Saban does as well

Money pays and since we all know Bama is not clean I'm sure that's why the jersey is up there.

Ruston doesn't have a chance against Neville. You might need to wait for Battle of the Border. That will be a good game for Neville.

I love these threads about how North Louisiana hates LSU. They are generally started by the same people that go to the OT and say that North Louisiana sucks and how much they hate it.

Sounds like you haven't actually made the 2 drives. Monroe to Tuscaloosa is straight I-20. Monroe to Baton Rouge isn't a straight shot. You have to go through roughly 10 small towns where you slow to 35 MPH. Its about 45 minutes closer of actual road time.

Sounds like we need to make a change in the highway system then.
