Good deal.
I will likely starting a new separate thread Sunday evening or Monday morning to separate it from this one, this one is a good one for discussion and throwing out suggestions and the other will be a good way to monitor who is hot and what they like without having to dig too much. Should be good for guys just lurking for some bets.
I'll keep wins and losses, +/- units, and try to do a Last three weeks record as well. Will probably need a little help but I don't see that being an issue with the participation we get here.

it doesnt matter which book you use for the lines. as long as everyone is playing the same bood. Its fair no matter what

I agree it's fair... Just know that we have some that are always placing bets on Monday Tuesday trying to get ahead of any movement.

I think he meant it doesn't matter what book we use, as long as we are all using the same one. That's how I interpreted it, but I've been wrong before.

yes, same book. Whoever is over it post the lines on
monday or tuesday, and whatever lines are posted are the ones we live by. No matter if they change during the week or not

well it looks like lsualum beat me to it for the contest...no need in two separate ones. 10 games is probably a bit much for some posters but I typically bet in volume. This works for me, I can spend more time on my capping and less on keeping up with the contest.

does anyone know of a site that has a single page line sheet that I can print each week? I typically make my own, but I'm not sure I'll have time this season. Looking for something with blank spaces so I can fill in the lines from my book rather than having the "live lines" from whatever site I try to print from.

I ran 1000 simulations of the game and Central Michigan covered 86.4% of the time against a +23 spread, now its at +23.5

My computer is at home so I can't run a new simulation against an +18 spread until later but if I had to guess it would drop to the 75-77% range
Not near as confident in a WMU cover as a CMU cover
I wouldn't take these simulations as total gospel, I guarantee you out of the 9 games my simulator has a team covering 66%+ of the time there will be 3-5 that don't cover, but I think people are under estimating Western Michigan
