PM benched Bregman, and called him out badly when he was in his slump his sophomore year. And, certain posters on the Rant ragged on Bregman mercilessly during that time, especially with his Rake City tweet. Nobody faced more pressure than Bregman, and he said LSU was the best decision he ever made and an absolute blast.

Bregman got through the tough times; everybody has to eventually.

Sorry to see him quit; I wish he and his DAd would sit down, have a man to man talk and then he decides to come back.

He didn't call him out at all. He kept talking about his hustle on defense instead.

Honestly, good for Byrd. The higher you climb the ladder, the less fun sports become. Rec sports is more fun than high school which is more fun than college which is more fun than the pros. If you're not going to do this professionally, life is too short to do something that makes you miserable. It's his life, not the fans.

I've honestly got no problem with a kid walking away because it isn't fun. Good for him. You should spend college looking for something you love, so that the hard work is fun. If the work isn't rewarding, try something else.

I wish it had worked out, as I'm a big fan of his dad's, but that is life sometimes. It's not like he's throwing away millions of dollars or anything.

No!

Show me the quote. He never called out his boy.
