Yeah, this thread was 6 pages earlier this morning.

I've noticed the shrinking thread phenomenon on a couple different boards lately.

Solution.......How about playing MLB. Its not a new idea but he could be the man.

The LB thing has cooled off after he started hitting the camps and revealed his lateral movement is gonna need a lot of work to play ILB. You can see it when he runs the ball too, another poster called it "no wiggle". He makes up for it with elite straight line speed for his size.

His future is as a downhill, north-south RB. I think Arky is selling him on that and doing a good job of it.

If he's making a business decision, no way in hell he comes to LSU.

He's too stiff. Yoga ( or something similar) would do the kid wonders

If you're referring to him being compensated in some way by other schools to attend...then I'll agree with you. If you're saying going to another school will better his chances of being a high draft pick in the NFL, then I totally disagree.

If you're talented...the NFL will find you and draft you accordingly whether you play in a running back by committee at LSU or rack up 25-30 carries/game at some other school

That makes no sense as a RB. Hill had the perfect situation, only had to take 2 years of mild punishment on his body due to split carries. Bigger backs burn out in the NFL by being rode hard in college. It's the one group that absolutely benefits from less wear and tear early on. A rb has a limited NFL window, similarly elite mlbs have the same issue for similar reasons. Top that with way more future opportunities by staying home and loyal if things don't work out in FB, imo it's the only smart business decision

what? That's just plain wrong. LSU would probably be his best bet.

that's a bad post and you should feel bad for it.

The kid hits so hard. Could be an absolute stud at middle or outside backer. I could see him as a Von Miller type in the NFL, but his heart is set on carrying the ball.

Commenting on the original post, I wonder if he was going to follow Shea everywhere, wouldn't he have chosen the IMG offer so he could play with his bestie?

Also, now that those comments are out there, we can counter each of those points. I'm sure the staff would've asked anyway though.

I could see that as a problem. Good point.
