Been a long time in the making. Writing was on the wall.

I'm usually against transfers to the SPL but for Darlington I don't mind. He needed to make the jump and he's waited too long as it is. Hopefully he can be like some other Americans and translate success in a smaller league into opportunity in a larger one. I would love to see Nagbe get a chance to play in the Bundesliga or Spain. I think he is that kind of caliber player if he can maintain his form for an extended stretch.
But a Celtic transfer means he would probably miss the January camp...

Doesn't look like Nagbe is leaving.

Sources tell me this is extremely inaccurate and couldn't be further from the truth. I doubt he makes the move for multiple reasons. #MLS

Recieving word that Darlington Nagbe will travel to Glasgow on the 28th to finalise personal terms ahead of his switch to #celtic which...

Getting word US's Junior Flores agreed to 3-year MLS deal. Leaving @BVB 2. Unclear if he'll arrive soon or summer. Club tbd. Crew top option

Goff reports Crew SC are the "top option"; however, Crew SC would have to do some maneuvering to make it a reality. As a US youth international, Flores would enter MLS through the Allocation Process, and Atlanta United currently hold the top spot in the Allocation Ranking Order.

quote:Yes, but I think we all know that deals get done. Atlanta may be willing to trade that top spot if they don't want Flores. Also, Atlanta may use the #1 spot to get Guzan, allowing Columbus to make a deal with Minnesota.

I'm beginning to think Atlanta will take Ebobisse with the #2 pick in the Superdraft.

Houston is being mentioned some as we're 3rd in order.

Would love for houston to do this. We need a #10 in the worst way.

I doubt this guy would be your savior honestly. The last time he looked like an elite prospect was when he was 16.
Posted on 1/3/17 at 7:51 pm to SouthTexasSaint
He would likely be a contributor but he's not a solution to the many problems.
I'm more concerned that all of the guys were signing are pretty unproven. Even at MLS level quality.

Winger Joshua Gatt joined FC Nurnberg for a trial stint, the team confirmed via twitter. The 25-year-old Michigan native is working out with the German team, currently 9th in the 2. Bundesliga, as he prepares to determine his club future.
Gatt has most recently played for Molde with fellow American Ethan Horvath, now on his way to Club Brugge, and would be free to join Nurnberg on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at the end of 2016.
