Dom Dwyer says he'll be eligible for U.S. citizenship next month, & his paperwork is ready to be filed. A possible #USMNT Gold Cup option?

Dwyer is a good guy, but that is sad if the USMNT comes calling for that.

Dude has like 52 goals in 113 games and is only 26. He'll probably already be in the top 4 of our available strikers. Regardless of how average you think he may be, this isn't a bad thing.

I think he'd slot in at 5th ST. Not bad considering that Dempsey will be retiring from national team play soon.

A healthy bacon is number 3

A year or 2 from now we will have Haji Wright, Josh Perez and McKinze Gaines

Hasn't existed in 2 years.

Granting you Bacon, who's number 4 before Dwyer?

Jordan Morris is our clear #3. We also have Zardes but I'm not sure how Bruce plans to play him.

Hope he is viewed more as a winger... His workrate and recovery speed is a good asset.

Have to imagine that Morris is your #4 behind Dempsey, Jozy, and Wood. Dwyer is a debatable 5th with Zardes and AronJo.

But you have wanted Dempsey out of the team for two years now. I don't think Dwyer is better than Morris.
