i thought we were only using stats in games the two STARTED? Lee split time with jefferson, yet you are using his lack of numbers in those 5 games against Lee. Going into the Alabama game Lee had thrown for over 1200 yards and 13 TDs to only 1 INT, while splitting time in more than half of his starts. Jefferson played against two horrible teams and played the game of his career against Arkansas. he then followed that up with the two single worst games as a QB in LSU history. jefferson was fricking garbage

Dude, really?!?!

Lee's efficiency using YOUR numbers = 151.2
Jefferson's efficiency using YOUR numbers = 159.7

BTW, using YOUR numbers, Jefferson has a higher completion percentage and a higher yards per attempt average.

And yet Lee started against the worst defense, and 4 of the 5 worst defenses that LSU played . . . and he still couldn't outperform Jefferson. In the games that Lee started, LSU had ONE game over 450 total yards . . . in nine starts. In the games that Jefferson started, EVERY game LSU had over 450 total yards.

LSU blew out Georgia in the SECCG. LSU's offense scored four touchdowns. Jefferson executed the option and zone read to near perfection in the second half.
