I don't listen to My Morning Jacket, but a lot of my friends say they are very good. How good are these guys? What are some of their best songs and albums?

They are the most overrated band currently touring. I can't get into them.

They are not for everyone, but they are for me. One of my favorite bands. My wife hates them.

I enjoy their music but I get where some might not.
I will say they're an awesome group of guys and have given back ten fold to their local music scene (Louisville), especially with their push for the Forecastle Festival.

I saw them at Bonnaroo in 2004...I wasn't familiar with them, and they put on a great show. I'm not a big fan, but I do have them on the ipod now, and pull them up occasionally.

Here are some of my other favorites, but honestly I pretty much listen to all their stuff without skipping a song. That's one cool thing about their CD's, if you like them you will enjoy every song:

The new CD is a little different, but Tropics, Big Decisions, and In It's Infancy are pretty legit.

Saw them at Bonnaroo and it solidified what I already thought. They are my favorite band. Jim James is awesome.
