cant agree more, i was going through a phase of whale hunting day in a out and forgot that many great beers i had tasted and enjoyed before were right in front of me on the shelf. That hunter/gatherer is tough to get out of though, i guess thats just part of looking for that perfect beer for whatever mood you are in

8YS said it best, I think, when he said he had gotten tired of paying $14 for a 4 pack of the latest and greatest thing every time it came out. I think we gravitate towards chasing after beers because that's a big part of why we got into craft beer in the first place -- trying new things. If you're only buying the same ol' daily drinkers, you're doing something that is counterintuitive. But I think he's on to something in that once you find something that hits the sweet spot with flavor and price, it's foolish to pass it up. For sure sample new things, but don't overlook a good thing.
