You do realize that under the facts of this case he was incapable of consenting at all that night, right?

you'd think she'd mention that part of it

I know. Funny that VOLhalla keeps mentioning that she claims to have withdrawn consent, yet refuses to acknowledge Doe was incapable of consenting

interpreting her texts as being in any way associated with rape requires a severe suspension of disbelief

I don't think anyone said that the texts are in any way associated with rape. Not everything a women does following a rape is associated with rape.

I think a lot of people here are wondering why she didn't tell people she was raped right away in the texts. A lot of rape victims don't talk about it right away. Some don't want people to know they were raped. Some don't want to admit to themselves they were raped. Maybe she wanted to talk to a therapist, or her best friend, or her mom before telling the person she was texting. There are many reasons why she didn't mention being raped

Yes, and if that occurs, the party withdrawing consent does not immediately text someone and say "I fricked so-n-so".

I agree with SFP. The "people react in different ways to rape" line is a very convenient excuse.

Wrong. There is only one reason this girl didn't mention being raped, and that's because she wasn't.

Other people may have a myriad reasons why they don't mention being raped. Those don't seem to apply here.

They had both been drinking. It's possible that both were incapable of consenting, and that opens the doors to the both parties being drunk and having sex scenario. Do you want to charge two people with rape if both wake up happy that the sex happened? What if both regret it?

So she conveniently remembers every single detail and, thus, her testimony is bullet-proof? You can't have it both ways.

Not reading whole thread, but did you see in the story where she invited another dude over after she got rid of the incapacitated dude and begged him for two solid hours to frick her? It even says the new dude she talked into coming over refused to frick her for 2 hours, then finally gave in.

Jones also complained to the advisor that the male acquaintance she had invited over (ML) wasn’t making a move on her. In a subsequent text, she lamented that it had taken ML hours to agree to sexual activity with her.

ML is the SECOND guy she brought over after she tried to suck off the first who was blackout drunk and probably couldn't get it up. So she kicked him out, called another dude over and spent 2 hours trying to convince him to please have sex with her.

it's not THAT as much as discussing the acts in relatively great detail while ignoring the whole "rape" part of it

quote:

A lot of rape victims don't talk about it right away.

the incident? sure. that doesn't apply here

she clearly was talking about the incident and the expected reaction with a "don't tell anyone" ending. that wasn't guilt from rape. that was remorse from an intentional act. now does that means she never withdrew consent? no, but she freely discusses the incident itself, so it's atypical for the scenario you laid out.

quote:

and this girl used those interpretations of post-rape behavior to avoid the consequences for fricking her roomate's boyfriend

she puts a black eye on every rape victim who DOES go through those behavioral examples, and for that she needs to rot

If she mentioned being raped it sure would go a long way to support her claims, but alas, all she did was talk about the consensual sex she had.

There are very few times in my life when I've been drinking and wouldn't remember if someone forced my head down into their crotch.

VOLhalla told us the people react differently to rape. Some go to the police, a hospital, or even a friend. Others make a booty call and beg for more dick for 2 hrs so they can erase the memory. You just can't judge basic human nature like that.

Am I doing it right, VOL?

You aren't really this dumb are you?

They had both been drinking. Yet, she was cognizant enough to (a) know he was incapacitated, (b) worry about how her roommate would respond, and (c) discuss pinning it all on the guy but decided against it because he was too drunk to come up with a lie. Sounds like she could consent and he couldn't, which she knew.

How about the person perpetuated the sexual assault actually be subject to a complaint and expelled.
