I don't think it's metric system but I love when fighters are introduced their weight in stone.

As a country, we've been inching towards accepting it, but it's unlikely we'll embrace it anytime soon. Too many things would have to be changed, which would take a lot of time and money, and nobody wants to foot that bill right now.

I got into an argument with someone over this who said it isn't better. This person also thought you could create matter.

Year-Month-Day is the best format of all. It's the only one that sorts right.

I remember my teacher telling us that learning the metric system was not an option because in a few years everything would be converted.. I think that was circa 1976.

Canada and the U.S. were both going to convert roughly around the same time. Canada did complete their transition in the late '70s, and the U.S. was going to finish several years later...but a global recession hit, so the U.S. postponed the transition until after the recession as a cost-cutting measure--and then never started back up the effort to switch over once the recession ended.

I wish.

Feet-inches is frigging retarded. But...all of our units make little sense.

The only good thing about the metric system is driving 120.
