Brainwashed to accept the police state.

well, when idiots realize that there's someone pointing a gun at them, maybe they should start listening and realizing that the slightest thing they may do that deviates from what the guy with the gun says, may result in them being shot.
Until police officers start educating high school kids more on what to do and what not to do when approached by officers, things like this will continue to happen.
Hold on there, U.S. soldiers deal with stricter ROE's on a daily basis. The different is that the soldier will spend the rest of his life in prison if he makes the wrong choice.
This is the thing that's striking- we had people out on patrol in area's rife with terrorists, marked by roadside bombs etc. and they manage to not point their guns at people until they actually plan on using them for the most part but its somehow a natural and accepted practice for cops-- who in general are far better paid and in a far, far less dangerous environment to essential use their sidearms as pointers for emphasis-- wtf is that.

starting to look like a cultural problem stemming from the culture of the shooters.
You know the media that cops consume celebrates cop on citizen violence to at least as high a degree as rap music celebrates gang violence-- think about how many cop shows and movies you've seen that have at least one shooting.

It's mind blowing to me people defend this video. Holy shite.
It's sickening, I can see if they are trolling. People don't get it. It could easily be them. the executive branch of the entire country needs an overhaul

You really want this to happen.
It's kind of already happened in this thread
But I figured you would've caught on to that by now

I've only read as far as this post but I thought this was over a stolen bicycle?
The dispatcher errently put the call out for a possible armed robbery. This elevates the situation before the cops arrived.
At first I just saw the video and thought what a bunch of poosse cops. Then I read the story and rewatched the first angle with the same assumption that the cops did that the guy was probably armed. Then again I can actually have empathy for my fellow man and put myself in their shoes, which the cop bashers and cop lovers have no capability of.

I understand the anger, but some posters post the most idiotic things in these threads.

Why, to hassle him for driving a little too fast? For not having an inspection sticker? For not bothering to even do a pawn detail to find stolen property? To investigate an incident after it occurred?

Worst retort ever.
When was the last time you recall "needing" a cop? In 33 years on this earth, I never have.
What if I'm robbed? Great the police can show up, document the crime that they were powerless to stop, then file paperwork. Then I stand a .01% chance of ever seeing my lost items again. Sounds like a valuable use of tax dollars to me!
What if I'm mugged you say? Great point, I probably would need a cop then! So should I just tell the mugger to politely chill out while I dial 911 and wait for the Po-Po?
As the saying goes, when seconds count the police are only minutes away.
I fricking hate cops. They are nothing but thug revenue collectors for the state. If I could make a pact with society that the police would never help me as long as they never harassed me for stupid traffic violation bullshite, I'd sign it in a heartbeat.

Well, if he would have just left his hands in the air he would still be alive.
It's very easy to understand.

Well, I know it couldn't be me because I would have left my hands in the air. Very simple concept.

Sorry, broseph.
I'm in no way defending the cops actions, I'm simply saying the guy would be alive had he left his hands in the air. His fault he's dead.

...is in some way defending the cops actions. If you are removing blame from the police officer, you are implicitly saying his actions were justified.
