Guys, it's a diamond 4-4-2. There aren't true wingers. Width comes from the fullbacks, and the "wide" midfielders tuck in. Playing A defensive mid at those positions isn't nearly as egregious as Jurgen playing Danny Williams out wide against Italy in a 4-2-3-1.

I get that but usually in this formation you have 3 CMs who pose an attacking threat (Swansea ran it a lot last year with Gylfi, Jonjo and Ki attacking with Cork deep). He might prove me wrong but I haven't seen too much from Morales going forward yet.
