I completely agree with OP. Great series so far and I guess just because there is no sex and no f-bombs like in his previous it's considered young adult 
Highly recommended and I can't wait for the 3rd one to come out.

No graphic sex anyway, but still some sex in Half the World, and pretty damn graphic violence throughout but still considered YA. Makes no sense to me, but glad I ignored that anyway.
