We lead for Wilson. Sucks for Dylan tho. He has been top performer at almost every camp

Dylan is #1 in 24/7, Scout & will be espn, all which I hold in higher regard than rivals. Maybe cause I actually subscribe to Sonny & Shea and just get free twitter updates from Scarborough.
Anyhow rivals is simply looking for attention by not rating him #1 imo.

This was my thought as well. Every report, review, evaluation I have read has had Dylan on a completely other level than any other 2017 recruit.

That's my thoughts on it as well.
It's also going to be an issue of so many eyes on him for so long that there will be an over-evaluation backlash. It happens in professional drafts all the time.

Dylan may be the best player even if he was in the 2016 class. Good thing though is that Wilson is a heavy lean to the tigers.

Couldn't agree more, Rivals writers are scrub hacks!!!! Let my subscription end about 8 years ago and will never spend another dime with them for the rest of my life. All I will do is look at their free content just to be able to get something for free from them!!! Love how they have just 3 Louisiana boys in the top 100, glad LSU landed 2 of 3 of them.

Rivals writers if Wilson commits to LSU too:
They won't know who to drop and who to bring up to the top spot. There's always the possibility that they'd just drop Moses and Wilson out of the top 10 and restart completely

Is Rivals a Paul Finebaum publication?

I'm guessing a guy committed to Bama ranked btwn 8-10 will occupy the #1 spot before its all said and done.

Great marketing strategy by Rivals. What's the fun when the most heralded recruit is an LSU lock? A&M, LSU, and Texas all are big money accounts and want to keep checking sites for what the top uncommitted guy is doing

We all know it's extremely rare for a Running back or an "athlete" to get that top spot. Although his measurables are Hall Of Fame stuff, the "safer" bet is a high-demand position guy. Backs are a dime a dozen but a dominant DE or OT is usually going to get that spot. And this is a guy who wasn't even the most heralded back on his own team last year, freakish talent aside. So I'm not going to lose any sleep over guys rating him lower and taking a guy who projects very specifically to a certain position and role.
He's clearly the freak athlete of the class. But he projects as an RB or an LB so I'm not surprised he'd drop a spot or two. The only thing that matters is that he comes to LSU and kills it and achieves his dreams.
