In the somewhat near future I'll be trading in my POS silverado and buying a new/new-used truck. Either Dodge, Toyota or Ford.
All I'm looking for is:
-Crew Cab
-4x4
-Bluetooth
-Leather
-Not V6(unless ecoboost)
-Not Diesel

There are like 42 Trims now for each manufacturer now. Can you tell me what is the base trim that offers the above for each manufacturer? Not looking to spend 50k on a truck.

TIA -

Dodge/Ram is the best bang for the buck. Toyota will likely hold value the best, but they are pricey. Ford is never a bad choice, but tough to get good value because the new aluminum trucks had a price increase across the lineup.

I bet you can get into a Ram Big Horn with all of your options, maybe a couple of extras, for at or under $40k

I spent some time yesterday pricing trucks with my company discount. I priced midsize trucks with mid level packages, because fullsize truck prices are crazy to me.
The following are 4x4 crew cabs: tacoma is 30k, gmc or chevy is 34k, frontiers are 28k.
I have not been able to find any deals on used trucks up here, but I am only internet shopping and have not been to a dealership.
I am going to ride my Ridgline for a while longer. No car note has been really nice for the past few years.

Ford - you're looking at a Lariat to get all of that
Dodge - Laramie I believe is the lowest trim with leather seats
Toyota - Limited?

Any of the three with what you are looking for will cost a small fortune

I'm kinda disappointed with my F150. I'm not sure if I'd buy another. It's a 2012 eco Lariat 4x4. 4x4 and the locker have always been solid, and I've had no problems with the eco, but the quality control on those trucks is garbage.

I got leather seats and my driver's seat was destroyed after 20k miles. I figured it wouldn't be a problem to replace under warranty, but they fought me tooth and nail over that. Now it's at 50k miles, and the seat is demolished again. I'm talking like faux-leather peeling off the seat kind of stuff. My backup camera works like half the time. It started going out around 35k miles. For what a new one costs, I'm just gonna wait until I can afford an aftermarket one and go that route. The panelling on the dash is really cheaply made too. I got scratches all over the silver dash panel from things that should not scratch dash panels. The paint is also terrible. It chips like nothing. All of that is just aesthetics, but if you're gonna pay for what Fords cost these days, I think it's pretty fair to expect more than that.

I had a Tacoma before the Ford, and there weren't nearly as many "options" on it as the 150 has, but I never had any issues with the quality of the truck. It's also possible that Ford fixed all this with the newer model 150s, because from what I read online my problems were pretty common. Regardless, I'll probably go back to Toyota after this.

ETA: I'm also a big fan of the Hemi, just not a fan of how Dodges look.

I recently bought a Tundra Dbl Cab 4x4 w/ 5.7L V8 for $31,300. I believe it is the SR but has the work truck package which has vinyl floors rather than carpet along with the towing package. The seats are heavy duty vinyl, but everyone thinks it is leather when they see it. Has everything else you mention. Find someone who will haggle with you via email and be patient.

68K on my 13 F150. Haven't had a single problem so far and will continue to buy the Ecoboost because I love the power and sound. Paint is chipping, but just on the painted front bumper( (tan). I honestly haven't seen any of the interior issues Bluemoons is talking about and I know several people with newer Fords.

I freaking love my Ram ecodiesel. Laramie package. Came very close to buying a jacked up F150, but the sales manager was a dipshit. Went with Dodge and I love the truck

I'm happy with my Tundra. MPG isn't great but the small fuel tank makes it look way worse than it really is. Ram is a solid choice nowadays too, and the resale isn't the issue it used to be.

I've seen Leather seats in SR5s, usually on the TSS package trucks. Probably a dealer option though. If you find the truck you want but must have leather, $1000 will get you better than oem quality.

I realize that trucks today have make amenities but the prices are just crazy. My dad bought a 2010 f150 xlt 4x4 for 32k out the door brand new and today the exact same truck is 43k. How prices have gone up 30+ percent in 5 years is baffling to me.
