Order on-line from Tire Rack and they'll drop ship them to one of their installers.

Be wary of buying outdated tires. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.

You can't go wrong with Gonzales tire on Airline in Prairieville near the Walmart. That's who I always use.

How do the places in and around BR compare to places online lime discount tire direct? I need two sets of 285 75/16's and was quoted $1222 after rebates and discounts for two sets of copper discoverer atp's. Of course have to pay someone for installation but have someone who does it pretty cheap.

Dude at Gonzales tire told me that he would match online prices for whatever they already sell. Some of the other tire stores will do this too.

Get a price on tirebuyer.com then go to skid marks and they will match. Their customer service is great also.

Chabill's has a sales person that covers all of their stores. I spoke with her, gave her price that I could get them for online and she matched it.

Be wary of buying online. IF you have a defective tire, you must wait for your replacement. Buying locally there is no wait. Plus you'll get free rotation and balance as well.

Yeah, I've had places match online prices too

The difference is you will usually pay sales tax instead, but you will likely also get free rotations so kind of a wash

Skid marks, got some two weeks ago. They price match, give you 2 free regular oil change or 1 free synthetic plus tire rotation as long as they are on your vehicle at no charge.

Whatever you do stay away from Firestone. They rape you on install charges.

Skidmarks on Coursey or Dutchtown.

The guys at the Coursey location are top notch and they offer good prices IMO. I've bought two sets of tires from them. I know the manager at the new Dutchtown location and he is a good guy, so I'll vouch for him as well.

Occasionally onlinetires.com will do free shipping on top of their stupidly low tires.

Skid marks will price match the tire price, but still charge tax. But, take your 9% off of the total and goodyear will pricematch skid marks.

You basically get the tires for the online price and pay a reduced mount and balance fee because you bought them there.

That's not a bad price for 2 sets of 33s.

My last set of 32s ran me 849ish OTD.
