Independence Day Weekend Fishing Plans

Going to Hopedale on Friday. Perhaps back there on Saturday but may change it up and go to Leeville

In Dulac now for a tuna overnighter tomorrow/Friday. Speck fishing Sat/Sun.

Heading to Cocodrie tomorrow after work (and a couple chores around the house). Hopefully getting on the specks Friday.

Planning on taking the kids and a few lawn chairs to Ramah levees for some bream/sac fishing. (unless anyone has a better suggestion for bank fishing within an hour drive of BR)

Headed to fourchon or dularge friday..Saturday family n BBQ and Sunday maybe head to the river and sandbar who knows may go fishing again

Just finished first evening in gulf shores. Cooked the in laws some specks reds and sheepshead.

If you prefer salt, take them to the St. Tammany pier. Pretty decent setup they have and you can catch flounder and sheepshead around the pilings. Reds and trout can be caught too depending on conditions.
It's right over an hour from B.R., but if you prefer to stick with fresh, your original plan should work!

Headed to Cocodrie tomorrow afternoon. first trip of the year. Baseball is finally over and we will be fishing most weekends now.
We are going to a friends camp in Coco village. It will be a fishing, drinking, eating, celebrating kind of weekend!

I know the original plan was for there to be a live bait shop there, but not sure if that ever came to fruition. May want to detour to Hwy11 (Rigolet's bait shop) and stop and get some live bait to increase the chances that something will bend the rod!

Going try bayou black Friday, if I cant catch there I'm going to the camp for some reds Saturday down in Point Aux Chene.
