The problem with TPAB, musically, is illustrated very well by "Alright." I respect the hell out of the art of the song, but it takes FOREVER to get into the actual groove. Huge long intro with a "Lucy" narrative. Then it has a weird chaotic patois style rap for a while. Then it finally sinks into an actual grooveable song. The problem is, you've committed like 2 minutes to the song already at that point. Someone should release an edit of TPAB that trims the fat and narrative and just contains the core grooves. That would be a "fun" party album. As is, TPAB is an excellent work of "art," but it's not something that you want to just throw on and groove to with a bunch of people or in a car.

All that being said, the video for "Alright" is beautiful.
