What in those pics points to him not being dead?

Although I don't actually believe he's dead, the sarcastic tone in, "he ain't dead" did not translate well obviously. But fwiw,
He ain't dead reason #1: unless GRRM gave the writers some tips, there's no way they'd kill off such an important character so early on in the season.
He ain't dead reason #2: there's no trail of blood, other than the puddle of someone else's blood seen before he'd been shot.
He ain't dead reason #3: if the shooter was going to kill CF, why wouldn't he execute him with a shot to the face after the first gut shot? Seems like he was deliberately trying not to kill him, but subdue him with several bean bag loaded shots to the upper stomach.
He ain't dead reason #4: all the images of CF in scenes that haven't been shown in either of the first two episodes.

consider:
faucet is dripping
he holstered his gun walking into a perceived 'dangerous' area with blood on the ground
he opened the door with the camera and router operating
he was shot both times in front of said camera
conspiracy theory: it was all a setup to make someone THINK he dies there. Ray and Crowman are in this together.

One of the most important rules in writing detective fiction is that the detective must not commit the crime. There are actually college courses on this stuff. It's like the 7th commandment or something. It would be borderline blasphemous for CF to be in on it. But, like yourself, I've kicked the idea around.

Head shots are the only way to make sure.

He paid 10M right? And now the guy was offering it to him for 7 back in? I need to rewatch it again.
I thought he bought in at 5, and the guy said he could do it for 7

They show him w/ the other cops later in the season w/ his stomach wrapped in public. Who would he be trying to make think he is dead?

It's like déjà Vu of last year. Everyone wants to come up with a super theory
Just wait until the melt when they aren't true

first episode ray is seen putting on a bullet proof vest. that will stop a shotgun blast to the torso in tv-land. plus he's on the imbd profile for 8 episodes

I'm ignorant on stuff like this. If that is the case, then how come the first thing some aspiring young writer wanting ot make a name for himself wouldn't be to do just that? Defy convention and go against the grain and do something bold like that?
In the field as creative and broad as art/entertainment where there are seemingly no rules, it seems like some people here and there would do something like this just to go the opposite direction.

I think he means that in a case like that, it would no longer mean it's a detective fiction story
Kind of like if you put tits in Toy story, it's no longer a kids movie

From what I remember, Caspere told Frank it was 10 mil so that is what he gave Caspere. The real price according to the guy was 7 mil..meaning Caspere pocketed 3 (well more if you count the other 7 currently missing.)
