My first CJ
My last CJ
I still get a little nostalgic when I pass a nice CJ. Then I crank up the AC in my F150, lean back in my comfortable seat, set the cruise control and smile to myself.

Is that green one in New Guinea or somewhere? Real nice collection there.

I was explaining to an old man how I was somewhere doing something and somehow I mentioned a guy was working on a Jeep. The old man, who had had a few Jeeps through the years, without skipping a beat said "if he's got a Jeep, you can bet your arse he's working on that mother F()*&^%!"

That one lives on my farm in Costa Rica. Its my little 4 cylinder diesel tractor. It tops out at about 55 mph, blows tons of smoke and is more rust than metal. I literally have ratchet straps holding the body together. But, it never breaks.

Are you from Vacherie?
I tailgate with several people with your last name. Big family group from Vacherie to Franklin.

Mainly because I didn't have a covered spot to park it in and the weather was starting to take a toll.

Crazy enough, you aren't the person I thought you were. I just spoke to them. Weird arse coincidence man.

The two previous owners were Cruiser heads. Between the two of them, they sunk like $43K in mods, into that truck (I have tons of receipts). I bought it on the very cheap and saw the dyno numbers, but never kept them. The truck is way too fast with this lift. It will torque steer you into a brick wall. I believe their numbers to be correct, but I can't say I've personally seen it on a dyno.

fair enough...dyno runs are cheap though... if you ever wanted to make a couple dyno pulls, you might enjoy seeing what she'll do for you.
I love talking with some of these kids that dads buy them a diesel truck and they quote you a hp number...when all they did was add the factory flywheel #'s to what K&N, Edge and MBRP exhaust advertises and claim that is their RWHP #'s
When you start talking to them about what you have done to your truck and #'s drag racing and your Dyno #'s aren't much more than their claim, they suddenly get quiet and are now all ears trying to learn about their trucks and any advice you can give them...
