I'd speed up the game by eliminating all the dead time, not eliminating offense. I'm fine with a long game if there's plenty of action and offense.

And I'm not looking for Madden numbers. But I wouldn't mind a typical baseball score being 9-8.

Don't remember if you were the one that wanted the teams to hustle on/off the field to reduce "dead time", but...

What do you do when the catcher is on deck, or on base when the inning ends. This happened a few times last night, and you have to give the player some time to protect himself and put his gear on. Teams would definitively use this to delay the game if they feel a delay would give them some sort of advantage.
