today was i think the first time i got to listen to the whole show. he had sarah spain on (tig ol bitties), who wasnt bad but is a really sassy broad.
does russillo always hate on outsider mike or was it just more so cause mike and sarah have beef? it was a really weird dynamic for the show today that i couldnt figure out. he kept calling outsider mike out on the air and making back handed comments. just wondering if thats the norm. is he bitter about standford steve going with svp and hes stuck with mike?
did that svp late night show start?

I think Spain is married.
SVP kept Russillo from being an egomaniac/jerk. I just don't like Ryen anywhere near as much without him.

i didnt want to believe this to be the case but sometimes its just overbearingly obvious. especially with Spain as his co-host (shes back again tomorrow). she is just a giant hater in general, which makes his "jerk" side really shine. there were times the show just felt really weird because of their "we're so awesome" banter.
eta: but i will give him credit that he does call himself out at times. like today he openly admitted he is guilty of being shitty to guests because his show becomes a little to "insiders only" type where guests cant really participate well on the show.

Ryen is so much more likable when Adnan is on there with him because Adnan is just too nice for Ryen to go into full arrogant meathead douche mode. But with Spain and Kanell, he's hard to tolerate. This show has completely lost me as a listener. I used to be a devoted fan. I haven't listened to a single podcast since the Kanell announcement.
It's clear they're using the Kanell character to woo the displaced Cowherd crowd that's looking for their shite-stirring troll messiah. I hated Cowherd's show and now they've driven me away from this one.

So, some guy ended up winning, and was apparently a huge jerk to the girls and would refuse to go buy them beers (even though their hotness is what got him there in the first place.)
Sarah ended up hosting and modeling in a bunch of commercials, because that's what you do when you're hot as hell, talentless, lucky, and in Los Angeles.

After the just brutal Cutler section, I'm out. Even Jeff Saturday was doing the fake holy shite they are torching this guy laugh.
At the end of the day, I understand Ryen put way more into the SVP show than SVP, but he's just not as talented not fun to listen to. SVP would on air find interesting takes on things, Ryen just comes off as a massive a-hole.

he really does. and it sometimes sounds like he understands it too. because after a douchey rant he will throw in some kind of comment to try and make himself less of an a-hole. the magic of SVP & Russillo was they both acted like normal guys that you could imagine sitting around shooting the shite with.
russillo sounds like the type of guy you get tired of after 10 minutes cause he just brags about how awesome he is. hes the type of guy that stares at himself in the mirror while jerking off.
