This kind of crap is exactly what I expected to read this morning. Obviously, it's CPM's fault that Hale, Stevenson & Chinea combine to go for 3 for 60'ish, Foster for whatever he went. Forget the pitching, how many runners in scoring position did we leave on base when a hit or 2-3 would have turned all of the CWS's games around. Pitching? How many are freshmen? Poche's back to back errors on one of the simplest fielding plays in baseball, then his walking/hitting a batter to bring in 2 more runs, all had a lot more to do with that loss than any coaching decision by CPM.And in the last game, LSU had exactly 4 hits going into the 8th inning, all in the early innings. And just consider this, CPM's peers, in the SEC & nationwide, voted him COY.

It is and obviously you are too stupid to realize it. These guys have zero discipline and they're swinging at crap. Who's setting them aside and telling them to stop it? Who's telling them that 13 straight outs on 36 pitches is unacceptable? Who's telling them that taking two pitches in a row is not illegal?

You're in the biggest hitting slump of the year and your answer is "well, just swing at everything and maybe you'll get lucky?" And you can't see how this is about coaching?

This team had no left handed power hitters. 8 Hrs or less and two were inside the park. Throughout the year they left runners in scoring position. Don't know the stats but could not produce with rsip and less than two out...They had no clutch hitting throughout the year. True the pitching lacked late in the year but aggressive hitting was no where.
