I like epicurean. Another old word would be gourmand, but that sort of had a douchier connotation than foodie. Probably explains why Tom Fitz refers to himself as one.

Thank you. The word has a horrible connotation, but what other word is there for someone who loves food on a different level than "me hungry"?
