I said he was a bust and got crucified. If you can't handle August in Louisiana. You're not tough enough for the sec.

I love the recruiting rankings don't mean shite and here's an example of 1 or 2 busts to prove my argument line of thinking. Good lord.

Right. Recruiting rankings don't mean shite because Jacob Hester was a two star no matter than 1500 other two stars that graduated the same year he did didn't amount to shite on a football field.

I don't think I'm tough enough to play SEC football then. It's fricking hot in August in Louisiana.

We'll cross train the LBs as much as possible and make do...against many schools we'll be in nickel mostly anyway...

What about grades? Is that no longer a variable? If they can pass their classes. Are the athletes that hand held through academics that there is no longer any question as to their academic committment? Or, would they say that?

I am a student here at LSU and I constantly saw him out at the bar every single night. It seemed like drinking and smoking black and milds was just as important to him as his football was. This does not surprise me one bit. Geaux Tigers.

I can second this, constantly talked about hitting tiger land up every night.

This is no surprise to me. Something seemed off since the day he stepped on the field over here. Best of luck to him

Ok let's do this ??

MLB: Beckwith, Voorhies
SLB: Feist, Riley
WLB: Debo, Donnie

Given enough time, Voorhies will be the one to make us forget all about this. In the meantime, Beckwith has proven himself many times over.

He barely played in Spring game so that was not a very encouraging sign.

Yep, the writing was on the wall- he just didn't live up to expectations...happens for every team, not everyone is going to be all-SEC or even full time starters.

If he's going JUCO then grades are a likely possibility. Another is he wants out of LSU but doesn't have a plan. Could have been an unexpected departure. Nonetheless, it hurts our program.
