I love this pick. They have a chance to be very good in the future.

Do most think we lose Stevenson and Laird?

Updated OP with Bregman being drafted, #2 overall

Sorry if this was asked already but where is Mac Marshall projected to be drafted?

Stevenson selected in the 2nd round, 58th overall to Washington

Updated for Andrew Stevenson, congrats to him, he got drafted very highly for his projection

MLB draft closes today, none of our recruits were drafted, as expected by projections.
Tomorrow will be a big day to see how our future is shaping up. Bregman and Stevenson are most assuredly gone and were great all-time Tigers

Imagine if we had 4 potential friday night starters and one couldn't start on weekends.

You'd still have Godfrey and Bain as well. An embarrassment of potential riches

I don't follow the MLB draft (very opposed to the number of rounds and players selected and how it affects college recruiting). For those who do, what is the cutoff round where are we are pretty sure a HS recruit will opt to go to school?

Crazy that Trahan wasn't picked yesterday. Robichaux was on radio yesterday evening at the start of draft and said that Trahan had been in contact with Angels, who I think had final pick of 1st round, and they said that they were taking him if he hadn't been selected yet

I'm not worried about our pitching next year at all. Add in a healthy Latz (and hopefully McKay) to everyone we have coming back, and Dunn will have a lot of great arms to work with. Our hitting, on the other hand... next year will be the big test for Cannizaro.

I see a bunch small ball next year
