Does anyone have a link to find the radio call of Stevenson's catch vs UNCW? I searched
Google but couldn't find anything but the tv call. Thanks in advance.

Hanigriff thought he dropped it, then he couldn't decide. Hawthorne had to correct him. It was terrible. You can hear it on the replay on lsusports.net. just scan till the 2nd uncw batter of the bottom of the 4th inning.

Hawthorne, Hanagriff, and Rantz calling the game together. It makes me laugh just thinking about it.

Thanks. I tried listening to highlights but that was the tv call as well. Usually it's the radio call. I'll check it out.

Culotta and the Prince played it on their show
Pretty brutal
Enough to eliminate Henagrift from the play by play job, I think he is better as a color analyst.
All the complainers about Hawthorne, he's not a bad play by play guy.
Patrick Wright might be the answer as play by play, he does a good job with that and then you pair the analyst with him.
The whole dynamic revolves around play by play and analyst working together, Hawthorne didn't work well with others and it shows at times.

And some people actually think he should be LSU's voice.

Yeah I looked there but couldn't find it on the app.
I usually like Hanny for baseball. He gets excited and usually makes a great call. I feel like anyone would make mistakes like that when they can't exactly see. And it's better than silence. As long as he can distinguish when a ball is hit that it will be caught at the warning track by an outfielder or on the infield by an infielder.

Awesome. You guys think he should be disqualified because of one bad call. I hope your bosses at your jobs aren't this hard on you.

No, I think he is a monotone, dull announcer. He is passable at best. And he doesn't even sell the big calls well. Voice of a major college is way past his talent level. Anything else?

It was the most messed up call I've ever heard on an LSU broadcast but I understand.

Yeah I agree. I do think he is a good color guy for baseball. Seems to know his stuff pretty well but as the play by play guy I'm just not sure he's exciting enough.

Or a white DB vs. a black WR when our offense has the ball.

And you're being kind with that description.

I know it was hard to see because Andrew, and Mark crossed when the ball was caught. I couldn't tell from my seat either, especially when Andrew relayed the ball back to the infield so quickly. I only knew he caught it when I saw the base runner digging back to 1st base.
