I have found the BR Zoo to be one of the more under-rated Baton Rouge activities. I've gone a few times and always have a good time. They have a few shows including the elephants and snakes. It's nothing super special, but it is an inexpensive and fun afternoon getaway.

I see you go often. Haven't had elephants for a few years now. The place is practically empty now

I agree. I always heard it was awful but I went a month or so ago and it was good. The kids loved it.
