Joc has had like 13 at bats this year where he hasn't walked struck out or bombed. He could essentially play on an empty field and he would be the same player

What a bum.
I live in an area with nothing but Cubs fans and they all claimed he was the best hitter in baseball before he even got called up
Not my fault unrealistic expecations were put on him

You also have unrealistic expectations for the Hall of Fame because you are not sure if Ken Griffey, Jr and Randy Jonhson are worthy of Cooperstown.

Guess we'll be adding Alex Guerrero on the list in 2-3 games. Another bomb last night.

there is no way Dave Kingman jr,,,,er pederson wins ROY.
If a player hitting .220 win roy, the award becomes a joke.

Eh, Kris Bryant is probably ahead right now, but joc can easily get back out front

Duffy leads right now according to most.

Ahead for what?
He's hitting .246

While not a traditional rookie, Jung Ho Kang is really making a huge impact for the Pirates since stepping into an everyday role w/ Harrison and Mercer's injuries. He's really gotten more comfortable at the plate over the last month or so.
278 AB, .299/.372/.460, .832 OPS, 137 wRC+ and .361 BABIP
8 HR, 35 RBI, 17 2B, and 2 3B.
Fielding at SS is still a bit of a work in progress, but I think most projected him as a 3B / 2B (really the long term replacement for Neil Walker), and he's been pressed into service @ SS due to injury.

I dunno, I've kinda fallen out of paying attention to this as joc has fallen out
That just seemed to be everyones #2 back when joc was leading the running

Pederson and Bryant are still the top two. They are just going through that dreaded phase when pitchers have figured them out and they need to adjust.

Of the "main" 4 (Grichuk, Pederson, Bryant, Duffy), 3rd in average, last in slugging, last in OPS, last in wRC+, 3rd in BABIP.
As I said earlier, of the people who get to vote and have said who they like, Duffy is #1 for most of them right now. We'll see how the next 2 months play out.
Duffy leads all rookies with a 3.4 WAR and plays great defense at 3B on that side too.
