Did you see the disparity in twitter and facebook follows/likes between AD and OBJ? It wasn't even close. And OBJ frequents social media too.

i absolutely did, which is why my first post in this thread said that neither of these guys are particularly famous. if you want to go by twitter followers, kevin love and john wall have double the amount of followers of AD. Damian Lillard has more followers than AD.
Lebron has 21 million followers, AD has 700k. is Lebron 30 times better at basketball than AD? No of course not, this just shows that basketball greatness does not equal instant marketability/fame/etc.

IMO NBA fans are more likely to use social media. There's a lot of middle aged men who don't use any social media who are fans of nfl but not NBA.
