So LSU is ashamed of their name since they don't include A&M?

Come on guys, let's keep the name game to a minimum. It's pretty well played out.

No.. Its on the diploma.. I wouldn't put it past La. Lafayette to put University of LOUISANA then in tiny font put Lafayette on their diploma.

Oh wait... they Do!

Im sorry someone said that La. Lafayette cant HIT.

I wasn't aware that meant one had to lookup HR stats. So I looked up actual hitting stats instead.

My bad.

It is your bad. You do realize that a home run requires one to hit the ball, right?

It's going to be fun sure! Not a bad environment for a non rival match up.

So then why are they in the 40s in every other stat involving hitting? While LSU is in the top 5 in every other hitting category and has fewer HRs than ULL.

Are you making the claim that ULL is a better hitting team?

Y'all need to quit jinxing the daylights out of us... Yesterdays stats don't win todays games. ULL is a heck of a team and if you don't think they won't come in here motivated and play WELL over their heads then you r a complete moron... This is very likely gonna be a barnburner of a Super and we will have to earn each and every baby step we take getting to Omaha from here. DONT DISCOUNT ULL... REMEMBER STONY BROOK.... AND IF U THINK THEIR VICTORY LAP WAS BAD, THEN IMAGINE ULL DOING ONE

You must be lacking in reading & comprehension skills. Never once did I assert that the Cajuns are a better hitting squad than the tigahs. I just refuted the one cat's claim that UL can't hit. While LSU numbers speak for themselves, does being ranked in the tops 40s equate a poor team position. How many teams participate in D1 baseball?

Don't forget that UL-L was a top 15 in college baseball attendance. I mean while were discussing important stats and shite.

You don't have to be the best hitting team or best pitching team. You have to be the best hitting team and the best pitching team for a weekend.

Unless Rice can rally, it's going to be nasty. Bring it on.

Baseball is definitely a fickled sport. The best team doesn't always win.

The Cajuns need three more outs to make a very interesting super regional match up.

That won't mean much as LSU will give out just 200 tickets for the visiting team as is the norm I believe.

You are claiming that ULL is a good hitting team due to HR's. You yourself chose to ignore the 40+ rankings in actual team hitting stats. Why is that?? Not as impressive?

I would say 40s is fairly low for a team in a super regional.

While LSU is widely known this year as being a top hitting team. But their HRs are near 40. So I'm just using your own logic here.

Wouldn't you say BA is the typical known "can hit" stat category?

What is La Lafayette ranked there? 148.... out of 295. So being in the bottom half in the country in batting avg means less than how many dingers you hit when it coming to "being able to hit"?

Dude, I'm guessing you are one of those tigah fans that never attended the university. Please quote where I said the Cajuns was a good hitting team. One kitty cat stated the Cajuns couldn't hit. The number of home runs refutes that the can't hit at all. Please re- read everything and try to stay on topic.
