I'd agree with this. I'm a Nola defender, but after moving back to Nashville, I feel like crime has much less of an impact on my life in Nashville when compared to New Orleans. In New Orleans, our neighborhood would have armed robberies pretty regularly. In Nashville, I live a few blocks from public housing and never feel unsafe. That doesn't mean I don't look over my shoulder, but I think that should be SOP for anyone in an urban environment.
