I cried and came at the same time. That hasn't happened since I discovered I hit puberty.

It's a great line and all, but who among us audience members really thinks that John Snow is a good looking dude? No homo, but the red bearded wilding leader is way better looking than Jon.
Great episode! Wow! I liked the king white walker's open armed pose, like "come at me, bro!"

it is not the best show on TV though, sorry. i am prepared for a slow episode next week.
Well, given the previous four episode nines in the series gave us Ned losing his head, the battle of Blackwater, the Red Wedding, and the battle at the Wall... you're probably right. Next week's episode will probably be a snoozefest. You should probably skip it. Sigh.

He's an objectively attractive dude
Dude has plowed Ygritte IRL, and has rumored to hooked up with Dany IRL.

That's all I could think of was how perfectly that set to be memed with "Come at me, bro."
Pretty awesome episode last night. We finally get to see some winter, and it was cool (no pun intended).
The wights slinging themselves off the cliff was badass. That whole scene and the fighting was pretty awesome. Loved the giant and how he was basically just kinda aggravated the whole time. Jon and the walker's fight was pretty cool, and it was badass how the Valyrian steel of Longclaw slayed that dude.
It did bother me at how slowly they were rowing away from everything though.
Loved Davy and Tyrion's discussion. Maybe now her screen time will finally be interesting. Interested to see what Jorah is up to...man, that dude puts the pussy on the pedestal more than anybody in history.
It was nice to see something good happen to Sansa for a change. And I'm interested to see Ramsay's little 20-man crew attack Stannis and see what they can do. That should be pretty cool.
The worst part of the episode for me was Arya. I have always loved her storyline, but am I the only one fairly bored with her this season? It seems like it's dragging on and fricking on, and nothing interesting happens (aside from a moment or two, like that hall with all the faces from a week or two ago). And for as awesome of a character as Jagen was a couple seasons ago, I'm not digging him this season.
Also, did we see her actually kill that gambler, or were they just playing the game of faces or whatever?
All in all, this episode felt like an "episode nine," so I'm interested to see what next week has in store. There's a lot going on again now, and hopefully we can get some resolution/advancement in the next two weeks. This show is awesome, and I hope to do a rewatch at some point in the offseason.

The little sword that Arya hid rather than throw in the water... "Needle" ... is it also made of Valyrian steel?
Posted on 6/1/15 at 8:14 am to Adam4LSU
Who else has Valaryian steel besides Jon and Jaime?

So how many of those swords are out there?
Didn't Joffrey have one?

No. Jon Snow just had the blacksmith at Winterfell make it for her in season one. It's not Valyrian steel.

I think Brienne has one

Jon. Jamie gave his to Brienne. Joffrey was buried with his I believe. Could be wrong, but guessing LittleFinger ended up with the dagger from season one used to try to kill Bran.

brienne's is made from the stark house sword, which was v steel, i believe ... jaime gave it to her, right? ...
