She caused a police officer to ignore the law and batter her?
Maybe his ignorance or arrogance or lack of self control caused it.

The COP was the one provoking, yet you just want to blame the people.
Your skull seems to be rather thick so I will say again, for about the 5th time now, that I'm not excusing the cops actions and clearly and readily admit that he was in the wrong. Got it now?

How about start gaining some reading comprehension.

do you get it yet?
I've followed the thread just fine thus far. Can't say the same for you, however.

Black lady throws down the race card, refuses to answer basic questions like her name, gets dealt with.
Seems pretty cut and dry what happened here.
I almost kind of agree with this. The lady who got arrested, sort of brought this on herself. She was all animated, and started to walk off when the cop was trying to talk to her. That right there was enough to cuff her. She was resisting.... BUT this issue wasn't even enough for the cops to even be called out. Pussy white lady called them.

a pregnant woman should never be handled and the on to the ground for resisting arrest
And what should they have done? Waited until she decided to get off the phone? Or perhaps when it was convenient for her? You sound like a rabid SJW with your statement.

That lady brought it on herself. Furthermore, she's exaggerating the "fall to the ground". If pregnant woman were as fragile as they sometimes claim, then they shouldn't even be out and about.
WTF? I have no clue where to even start with this crap.
The COP brought it on! He was outside of his legal rights to demand anything from her. That has been established!
And you are dead fricking wrong. You do not have to cooperate with cops when they are breaking the law!
And, you stupid fricking twit, I can confirm with absolute fact that a preganat woman should not be forced onto her stomach on hard surfaces and forced to endure super high levels of stress.
Once again, if there is a crime, then he can ask for ID. If no incident filed, NO ID has to be given.
The COP is the one responsible to know the rules and not think he can force free people to do what he feels like at the time. All he had to do is WALK THE frick AWAY! THere was NO incident report filed!

her voice alone was reason enough for arrest in my book
This statement damages the credibility you'd built in this thread. It's a good thing law enforcement officers don't arrest by your book, or people like this women would wind up detained while more dangerous folks roamed. It's safe to assume that there were more pressing ongoing situations or problems that the police could have diverted their attention towards rather than giving an emotionally upset woman a hard time just because she was a little rude.

my God man It was a joke.

Seems like an 8 month pregnant woman would take the necessary steps to avoid confrontation that might lead to undue stress or physical harm of her child.
This situation could have went two ways. The pregnant woman chose to make it difficult

Anyone defending the cops here can get fricked.
If she doesn't have a gun whipped out or about to stab you with a knife, there is no legitimate justification for throwing down a pregnant woman. Nothing at all.

not the cops assaulting her and escalating the situation for no reason?

It does not matter what the woman did or didn't do. The cop chose to escalate to a dangerous situation and try to arrest her when there was no crime being committed.
What is it with you retard cops and charging resisting arrest without any other crime being listed?

You're a cop, how does someone ONLY get arrested for resisting arrest?

The police were called and the woman admitted being involved in the road rage situation. Is it actually ok for her not to give her name when the cop asks for it in that situation?
I'd be on her side if it was just a cop walking down the street but seems to me like she had to comply based on the circumstances.

Oh look another cop saying that everything will be okay if we just all cower before them even when we haven't broken the law and there is no danger involved.

Yes. Unless he is arresting or citing her for something she doesn't have to give him any information. Her name wasn't important to the road rage investigation and it had already been determined nothing illegal happened.
