With so many CONCACAF officials embroiled in the arrests and the office being raided, I think they're too scared to say anything. It might be tomorrow evening before they release anything too substantial. The rest of the world is probably just in absolute shock at the balls of America and Switzerland.

Yeah I wouldn't read too much into CONCACAF saying nothing yet. The world is showing their fangs directly to FIFA right now. Let them handle the PR today, regroup and release a statement later.

I was expecting some negative US sentiment from those outside the US just because of the anti US sentiment that happens occasionally when it can be perceived that we are playing world police.


But am I surprised to read the glowing praise for the US Justice system and the FBI. The articles and comments I have been reading are universally praising the US for these moves. A lot of people are more upset that the countries that care the most about football neglected this to the point the US has to step in. But they are mostly grateful. For some reason I am shocked by these sentiments.
