Whoever gets paired with LSU's regional.. be prepared to lose in your regional

2003 Baylor advances out of Southern Miss' regional.
2004 Texas A&M advances out of Rice's regional.
2005 LSU loses to Rice.. Don't even care. Tulane wins Tulane regional.
2008 UC-Irvine advances out of Nebraska's regional.
2009 Rice wins Rice's regional. Congrats.
2012 Stony Brook advances out of Miami's regional.
2013 Oklahoma advances out of Virginia Tech's regional.
2014 Texas advances out of Rice's regional.
2015 Houston loses Houston regional.
7 out of the last 9 times LSU's hosted a regional a team other than the host has advanced to the super regionals. So don't be too concerned about who LSU is matched against. Look at the 2 seed.

Anomaly. Stony Brook was a 4 seed because the committe was lazy and didn't do their homework. Southern was a 3 seed in 2003. If Southern of all teams in the SWAC can be a 3 seed then anybody can.

Southern won like 47 games that year and had like 6 or 7 guys drafted. They were a solid team
Also in 2003 Baylor was the 1 seed and Southern Miss hosted. I think Baylor was renovating their stadium or something to where they couldn't host

TCOB first, then worry about Super. I hope there is a rematch, but this is not as good a UH team as last year. Best of luck next weekend. I married into an LSU family, so I always pull for the Tigers when they aren't playing UH. I look forward to attending the Super Regional at The Box should LSU advance whether UH is there or not. You all have the best atmosphere in collegiate sports.
