Fishing grass beds in front of my house in the pond I've had good look with a watermelon super fluke. I've been fishing it weightless and fishing it really slow.

One little trick I picked up with the Super fluke. If you want to add a little weigh when fishing some deeper water, get an old coat hanger and cut off some small, straight pieces and insert them into the nose. It will give it a little weight and make it fall very naturally but without the snags that a bullet weight would have.

A finishing nail accomplishes the same thing. Very good trick for flukes, as they don't fish as well with bullet weights.

yep...they work great...you can pick up a pack of 25 lead "bait weights" from Academy or Bass Pro... they have a pointed end to be inserted into a fluke or sluggo and broken off at the needed weight...

If you don't have any weight to stick in the fluke, you can use a split shot bream weight about 4-6 inches up the line.
