Game of Thrones/ASOIAF unpopular opinion thread (SPOILERS POSSIBLE)

Just like the title states, this is a thread to discuss opinions you have of the book series and the show that aren't very popular.
So here's mine.
Roose Bolton isn't a bad guy and everything he has done, including the Red Wedding, is justified.
So to start of, I will say that Ramsay is a sorry sack of shite and there's no debating that. Yes the Boltons have a history of horrible crimes, but the Starks do is well. So if you're going to shite on the Boltons for their past, you have to do the same with the Starks. Anyway, back to Roose. People love to hate him because he killed Robb at the wedding and helped end the war by betraying him. People think "OMG, why would he do that?!" Well, if you paid attention to the entire situation, you wold realize why and any smart person would have done the exact same thing he did.
When Roose decided to betray Robb the war was all but lost since half of Robb's army had left him after he was stupid and killed Rickard Karstark as well as marrying Jeyne Westerling. The Tyrell's had also just joined forces with the Lannisters and defeated Stannis in the Blackwater. So with Stannis out of the way, they could focus on their northern enemies.
Also, the Iron Born had invaded and taken some lands so the Starks forces now cut in half, had to run from the Lannisters and fight their way back into their own homelands. And do you think the most ruthless man in all of Westeros, Tywin Lannister, would just let them run back to their homes without any consequences? HELL no. Eventually punishments would have been handed out and the Boltons would have suffered a great deal. But due to the Frey's being pissed and Tywin Lannister wanting to end the war, Roose had his out when the Iron Throne offered to make him Warden of the North and pardon him for his treason against the Iron Throne. All he had to do was kill Robb Stark at dinner.
So, to those that think Roose is some horrible person, why do you think so? Because him killing Robb and becoming Warden of the North instead of having the wrath of Tywin Lannister brought down upon him doesn't make him a bad person at all. It makes him smart. In one move, he removed House Bolton's rival house from power and seized the north for himself.
TL:DR version
Roose Bolton not a bad guy
Stay with King Robb pros/cons:
Pros: He's considered honorable after he is inevitably put to death for treason
Cons: He and the rest of his house are wiped out and House Bolton ceases to exist.
Betray King Robb pros/cons
Pros:
Destroys rival house.
Raises his house to an even higher status.
Becomes Warden of the North
He and his family aren't totally wiped out by the Lannisters
Cons: Not viewed as an honorable man and some people hate him

My theory is that...
Jon Snow is really the son of Eddard Stark and that all the theories and other speculation are just silly.
Why would Ned never tell him?

I've always sort of wanted this to happen. People make him out to be some important character and that there's some deeper meaning to him.
SPOILERS
It would be the greatest troll job ever if he just turned out to be Ned's bastard who dies at The Wall. SOOOOO many people would be pissed.

I have another theory but it's a major season spoiler so I'll keep it to myself.

Post away. Just put spoilers in front of it.

If you haven't read the books don't read this post.
The big death, isn't going to be resurrected. He's just dead and that's it.

Which fits GRRM much better.
It will cause Millesandri to look East for Azor Ahai and make the Rickon angle more interesting. Possibly show that the Starks all died based on bad decisions.

It may not be unpopular now due to the show, but I've wanted Stannis to win the throne since A Clash of Kings.
He's a beast.

Same. I've always liked him. Although I wouldn't be upset if Dany won the throne back

she seems like a really bad ruler, but Stannis seems too tough.
The Tyrells seem like the best family for running things.

Mace is an idiot when it comes to battles.

Shae was a Tywin hire from the beginning.
Tywin hires exotic foreign whore to keep Tyrion out of the brothels in kings landing, also to keep tabs on him and betray him when the time is right.
Total Tywin move.

I haven't minded Roose too much. He's a hard man but he is pragmatic above all else.
His son is pure evil. A man child with power who refuses to grow up. It's all a game to him.
