So, in other words, no chance.

I also think Hoiberg is a pipe dream for the Pelicans . . . I would think it's Chicago or he stays put. Plus, he's a risky choice. Since 2000, eight college coaches have moved to the NBA with a winning percentage of a whopping 37%. With all due respect to Brad Stevens.

I think the Pelicans, and more specifically Demps, must go with NBA experience for this crucial hire. And if Demps has the responsibility, then Loomis needs to allow him to choose who he wants and who fits the roster he's put together.
