But I also think drinking should be 18. If you're legally an adult you should have access to anything adults do.

You can be in the military, vote for president, buy a house and a car, but you better not have a beer.

If they haven't shown an interest in Led Zeppelin, they're too young, imo.

Studies have shown that it will reduce the gray matter growth in the orbitofrontal cortex (decision-making area among other things) in youths. Medically speaking, it would be safer to stay away from using marijuana until you are around 21-25 (closer to 25 for most).

Link. I know you didn't pull those 50 cent words out of no-where, but medically speaking? I've read the reports and all too, I was pretty sure as long as you didn't smoke when very young there was no real risk of any issues.

I mean, expecting people to hold off that long on enjoying the herb is … pretty darn whack I'm afraid.

You're pretty much right. The gray matter volume decrease is also paired with increased connectivity. As long as you weren't smoking as a early teenager, you probably don't have a noticeable difference. That being said, GMV does decrease with use at an early age and that is definitely something to consider.

Well, they will have to wait until 21 to smoke it legally.

Should do it the summer after you graduate from HS. Don't be that guy who can't handle their business in college.

solid idea imo.

I think we should follow how some of the European countries handle it being legal. 18 is an alright age.

did you stop drinking beer after college. The feeling weed gives me to relax is the same beer probably gives you.

Different strokes. I like going on my patio after a long day of work and smoking a bowl.
